My thoughts - (1) I was looking forward to my first sandwich dial and judging by the arabics, it doesn't look sandwich.
Nothing I'm loosing sleep over, though that dial was the main hold up the last 2 months.

(2) It's a great looking piece regardless, better than I hoped for really

(3) I want the strap in the publicity banner - the darker brown. With rivets, yeah, RIVETS.

(4) ANOTHER bracelet that depends entirely on a half link. What is the matter with all these watch makers??

(5) I DON'T see any German chocolate bar!! Screw the dial issue. I don't see any chocolate bar!! Should
#12 arrive sans chocolate, the entire thing will be personally donated to Sister Ignacia's Home for
18 Year+ Wayward Woman With Valid IDs
.
They do terrific work there and the proceeds from the
watch could buy me, errrrr THEM much happiness.

(6) thanks to all who toiled on this for so long, especially Altair and Driver8.

Thanks for all the pictures! Going to look at their site now!! LOL I need to buy a Steinhart! Hope you get the issues wrinkled out.

They have some great looking watches. I started to check them out after I read about this LE. Their prices are pretty good too and I've heard nothing but great things about the watches. I may need a Pilots watch in the future.

I need a Pilot watch in my collection too but probably would not wear one enough to go the IWC route.

I don't know guys, one of those photos clearly demonstrates that the subdials are lowered. Now perhaps not to the degree you were expecting and probably not as deep as a Panerai but it is somewhat sandwiched at worse. Personally it doesn't bother me either.

The watch exceeds expectations in my book; it looks absolutely AWESOME! Superb work to all involved, I can't wait to get that one on my wrist

Great photos gentlemen, really appreciate the effort. I particularly like the comparison between the LE and the regular Chrono.

Thanks again Altair!

Thanks for the vote of thanks Sharkman, but with the exception of doing some Photoshop work on the initial mock-ups and attempting to keep the list of buyers in some sort of order, the success of this project is entirely down to the truly FANTASTIC efforts of Altair, and Altair alone.

I'm sure he's had more than a few sleepless nights trying to get this done, so it's he who deserves absolutely all the plaudits in my opinion!

(BTW, the watch looks absolutely superb!)

Way tooooooo much information. :D

But just for my own information, would you get more happiness with a chocolate bar than the watch?

Well about that chocolate... Günter still has a box of those and I'm pretty sure he'll include some to your packages...

I already had a few of those but look at me... I couldn't keep on eating chocolate with every single watch I buy at Steinhart! :wowzers

About the straps... just browse at Steinharts collection and pick one... they all look amazing!

There even is a strap called "chocolate" way down at the bottom - perhaps thats the one best suited for you! :nana:

Have to say thats one good looking watch guyz. I wasn't expecting it to look like that, in fact I wasn't sure what it would be like tbh. I wasn't a big fan of the last group watch that you guyz had done but that badboy is a different kettle of fish. Congratulations!

Cheers

Thanks for all the pics guys! Watch looks great (with or without sandwich issue). Can anyone tell me if the case size, specifically thickness has changed from the original Nav-B chrono - pictures suggest there might be a difference, slightly thicker?
Thanks again,
Terry
