Official Reservation thread.

Here are the basic specs:

Black sub-dials / Shinny
Black Hands / Matt
Arabic numerals
Diamond crown and standard pushers
Day-Date feature
Sandwich dial
Solid caseback/ X-1 Theme
Strap (of our choosing) with stainless deployant and bracelet
Double AR on domed crystal
Deep chrono subdials.
LE of 20 / Numbers on the back
Grade A burl wood box and strap tool

The above image is close but not the final, there will be no 6 and instead of Steinhart it will say Edition Limitee, where it says B - Uhr Chrono it will in fact say Mark II in a cool block font.

Considering all these features and the price (base at 750 not including shipping and VAT) I think this is one hot deal  I do not think I am exagerating when I say this is the finest LE Gunter ever made, and he agrees!

Can I just clarify .. When you say no 6... Do you mean a small 6 on the subdial or nothing at all?

Oh and can I have number 6 please...

Cheers!

Dave.

Is it really not going to say Steinhart on the dial? :? I always think a watch should have the makers name on the dial...... Hmmmm..............

I was assuming it would still have the Steinhart logo on it though...

I quite like the idea of having a watch with edition limitee on it rather than the maker's name.... makes it a bit more special and LE-like imho. Will be quite nice people glancing at it and wondering what make it is... with only a select few actually in the know... or is that just me?!?

So the back is an "X-1" theme but the front will say "Mark II"? That seems confusing. Shouldn't it say "X-1" on the dial, too?

Bonedoc I gave you number 8 as that was the lowest number available.

Updated the original thread with yoru reservations.

We are at 10 people right now, half capacity. I thought this would fill up faster.

I will move this LE into other forums in a few days, I might buy a couple more myself in that case. The standard Chrono is more expensive and has none of the upgrades so this should fetch a handsome profit
