I vote removing the 6 and 9 but retaining the 3 if the day-date is to remain where it is (which I assume).

Rationale - I understand the symmetry arguments but there are a subdials at the 6 and 9 whereas at the 3 their isn't; a missing 3 doesn't as look as good IMHO.

I also personally think a shrunken 9 doesn't suit the dial. Just my opinion.

That is exactely how it is going to look, except the nine will be a bit bigger.

The deep subdials are only the ones at 12 and 6, the subdial at 9 (main seconds subdial) is usually not deep, the idea is to give the chrono feature a different level than the main time.

Looks like we have a fairly good diea where this is going, mods please close it up.
