Driver brought up a pretty cool idea with the lume choice we could have, did not even think of that one. Thanks D!

Gunter has confirmed that they do use Super Luminova (same as used by Breitling, Panerai, Rolex etc) and the standard is C3, which according to what I read is the absolute brightest and strongest of them all, a light green color.

Driver has suggested black lume (actually known as grey lume) which looks really cool and glows blue. However it is not as bright though the lume does last as long.

I found a picture of a Breitling with the Lume reapplied, the fainter blue lume is grey, the rest is standard.

We can stick with green or go grey, or we might do a mix of both green and grey, which is quite attractive I think and uncommon!

Lets hear your thoughts gents.

I like the blue personally (so that's what I voted!). The only issue I can see if we go for a grey (or otherwise dark) dial and this lume looks grey in daylight. Might give us a legibility issue........

I voted Mix, but definitely prefer a majority of blue.

The green helps to split it up slightly, but don't like the majority green look.

I would have voted another colour if it had been available (love dark lume)

I voted grey, but really I think it depends on a proper contrast/compliment to the dial color. As a generality I like the dark lumes -- just different. The mix idea is a cool one if done tastefully -- do not want it to look like the Hong Kong skyline!

Blue dominates with a huge margin.

Here is a pic from Gunter on how the watch might look like in the dark with the blue lume

Pretty sweet, my Rolex Deepsea has that same exact type of lume and it looks great!

Mods please lock this thread.
