Hi, Fellow AMOC members. Just wanted to say hi and thanks to all at Andrew Michaels. My membership card arived safely in the post this morning. Tim :lingsrock:

Hi t72,

Congrats on the membership arriving. I was just wondering - when did you apply? I applied through the AMOC link on 23rd Nov 2011 and have not heard anything - I sent a PM to Alex a few days later (just to make sure he had received my request) but I haven't heard anything from him. I think I read somewhere here in BS that memberships have on occasions taken up to a year to process - perhaps I am being a little impatient.

Thanks t72,

I was just thinking that if you applied in the beginning of November (you joined BS on the 6th I believe) then you were a few weeks before me. So I may have been in the same 'batch' of applications. Alternatively, I may have just missed it and so I will have to wait until the next 'batch' is processed. That was my reason for asking.

I applied to join AMOC a few weeks ago via the Andrew Michaels website.
My membership card arrived up in Scotland within 5 days of applying.

Oh dear, thanks very much Andrew,

I've sent another PM to Alex but perhaps I am just one of those 'unfortunate few' whose membership never seems to arrive. I think I will just give up on it - you never know, it might just pop through the door one day :( .

I remain ever hopeful - it's been around 3 weeks now but you never know? :D .

Sorry KMG I told a complete lie there, I checked my email and I applied on the 10th Nov, I received my card on the 17th, so 7 days!

Hope you get it sorted out.

Thanks for the info Findlay, oh dear - well mine would seem to have disappeared off into the ether. I've PM'd Alex twice now and not received a response for either PM so goodness knows what's happened.

I may submit my membership request again - perhaps that will help.

Just a quick update,

I resubmitted my AMOC request again yesterday evening. This morning I have received an email from Andrew Michaels dealership thanking me for my application and that my membership card will be with me shortly - it would appear that my earlier application was lost in the ether :( . When the card arrives, I will post on here to let everyone know.

Still no response from *Alex* to the 2 PM's I sent to him :( .

Hey all sorry for not replying I've not really been on bs much and still have an unread pm which is probably from one of the gents in this thread. One thing to point out I don't work for AM as such i don't receive your requests or have any impact on your cards being issued this is all done in house at AM. sorry for the confusion.

Like KMG I applied in November, can't remember the date, and heard nothing yet, maybe I should reapply :lingsrock:
