I've been thinking of getting the wife her first Ling and introducing her to the awesomeness that is :lingsrock:
Anyhoo... I was trying to decide between the Cockpit lady with the Diamond dial (not bezel -too blingy for her) and the Colt Oceane. Either one preferably with a black dial, ss (not TT).
I was wondering if anyone had any pros or cons of either watch. Experiences etc...any words of wisdom.
I'm used to searching for previously loved watches for myself, but you don't see these come up too often for the ladies...So I wouldn't even know what price they would go for..so any purchase experiences would be appreciated as well!
Thanks guys and ladies!
Chris

The Cockpit Lady is much dressier, but I prefer it. I bought one for my wife - a custom combo of the 8 diamond dial with a TT case and bracelet and am very pleased with it. It's definitely her dress watch (has an Oris and an SOH 38 for everyday), but it's still flexible enough for 'casually elegant'.

Go with the Cockpit, the band with 5 wide links is much more attractive, and the face just looks more ladylike.
Yes, I looked at all of them, ended up with BClass which is the model before Cockpit. Mine is two tone, with
Arabic numbers and slashes for other hours and is absolutely gorgeous.
FYI< I paid $2600 for mine, new, from jeweler with warranty (Hadn't sold), you should do better. Ebay can be
your friend, there are good sellers there, just read their reviews and ask lots of questions to be sure of authenticity.
