A crown tube isn't going to be ridiculously expensive on that model but wouldn't be surprised if Breitling's total was in the same price range if there is no service history. Is it worth it, well only you can answer that. The watch will come back looking like new and may well last another 20+ years. On the other hand if you are planning to sell it then you won't get your money back in terms of increased value.
