Hey guys. Trying to come up with my "dream Breitling" for fun. I want a pilot's watch, not a "pretty watch," so yes, that includes a slide rule / E6B. Steel bracelet a must.

The Chronospace Automatic and Skyracer watches looks interesting; I love the Chronospace's star-shaped cutout for adjusting with Nomex gloves :-) I have pretty small wrists, so I don't want a dinner plate-sized watch. I know that a lot of military pilots and squadron special orders used to go with the B-1, but it's been discontinued. Recommendations?

Thanks,

VCQ

Chronospace is going to be pretty big on small wrists!

What about Airwolf / Airwolf Raven. Regular Airwolf was discontinued a year or so back, but they are still around and maybe a bit more manageable a size. Other than that the standard Navitime is a more manageable size for a lady.

I second Roff's comments.

If you like the Airwolf or the Airwolf Raven they're certainly the most functional for what you'll need in the cockpit. Timers, second time zone, UTC all very easy to access and easy to read in rough air.

Am I right in guessing everything you need is on your panel and style might be playing a part? If that's the case any of the Navitimers or the Transocean Chrono could be great options.

I suggest hitting your local AD and trying some on. One will likely stand out for you and you won't be able to stop thinking about it until it's on your wrist outside the shop. 8)

Welcome to Breitling Source!

My B1 is huge on my wife's wrist.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll be out in the area of our local AD next weekend. When I was stationed in Japan last year, I made it a point to ogle every Breitling case in the higher-end Japanese department stores, although most of the Japanese fighter pilots wear Rolexes (or at least the squadrons I worked with!).
