Hi!!

I'm one of the few ladies over here.

Sinds a few days my father told me that he would like to give me an Breitling. He is a fan for years.

I'am looking around and I find it very hard to chose.
I have a few things my new watch must be.

All silver. No gold / NO diamonds.
It must be cool not to ladylike and it must be young. (I'm 26)
The plate must be white. And not to small. (33.2 and above)

The price must be around 1500 and 200 euros. So not al models are in this price range. Maybe there is and second hand that is cheaper. But I don't really trust the internet so I prefer buying in a reagullar store.

I really hope you guys can give me some advise!!

Well.....

If the white dial is a must that rules out my initial suggestion of an SOH 38.

There's the Cockpit Lady, but that's going to be too small for your sixe, so what about the Chrono Cockpit - 39 mm and available in a light dial - there is a lady member on here with one. Not sure whether it hits the pricing with European prices though.

The SuperOcean gets closer on price, but maybe too big at 42mm, and also the Colt Auto and Chrono Colt Auto at 41mm.

Any of those appeal?

Wauw thanks for all the suggestions.

I googled them all. And I must say your right the cockpit lady is to small for me. The Chrono Cockpit I don't like so much, maybe the dial numbers are to old ore to ladylike for me.

The ones I really love are:
Super ocean...but one question the dial looked a bit yellow? I's this the true colour?
Chrono colt ocean with the 3 little rounds in the dial. ( I don't know the exact name for these things! )

Oh and the colt auto I liked but I like the dial to have some some numbers! Not all 12 but just the 12 / 3/ 6/ 9. Ore the 3 litlle rounds.

But thank you very much. Now I must find out the prices of these watches...

I really like this one...but I don't know if its to small for me. I think I'll just have to go to the jeweler and try this one. The price is really good though.

O and one thing!

On the pictures you cant really tell if the bracelet is shiny silver or matt silver! I hope you know what I mean...

I really like the more shiny ones.. My father has got the navitimer with the blue plate and I really like his bracelet.
How does Breitling describes the shiny bracelets?

Thank you in advance!

There are polished and brushed finishes.
All watches that Roff and I mentioned are polished.
I think that you first have to choose if you want Auto or Quartz and then Chrono or non Chrono.
After that it will be much easier to choose. :)
Price differences can be significant.

Montbrillant 38mm white face might stretch your budget a bit though

This one is the Montbrillant right? I Really really love this one!! But this one is way to expensive. This Breitling is a present for my graduation...and I think 1500 / 2000 is already to much!

Oke! Thanks. I'm about to become an expert in watches. Haha

What I really like is polished. And then auto because I think that is the easiest.
Then Chrono or non chrono depends on the design. In some designs I think Chono is to manly for me and in some I like it.

I went to the jeweler and I saw an windrider I really liked. But it had a leather strap is it possible to change this? And will it cost more? This windrider was on sale for Euro 2300...i thought, but maybe I mistake it white an other model.

Windrider is a range of watches - Chronomat, Cockpit, Chrono Cockpit, Cockpit Lady, Starliner and Blackbird.

They are all available with either calf or croc leather straps or the pilot bracelet. Be warned though, the bracelet is expensive so the watch will be quite a bit more with the bracelet.

There is always room for discount for the listed price - typically less in Europe than in North America but a number of UK buyers are reporting 20%.

FWIW, if any of this info helps, in April I ordered a Cockpit Lady for my wife. (TT yellow gold, MOP, diamonds on the face but NOT bezel) It was supposed to come in, in May. Got backordered and pushed back to June. Now estimating July.

The surprise got spoiled, though, so I had to show her the pictures of it, and she's excited. Exactly the watch she would have ordered if she would have bought one (luxury) for herself.

Ordered it on the calf strap, but then later added the TT bracelet as an additional accessory. Roff's right, YES, that bracelet is MEGA expensive. ($2,500 retail for hers, just the bracelet, not including the watch)

It's a shame that the watch didn't came on time. Why is this? Did you buy it from the Internet? But glad she is exited...but I think she was even more exited when you could have given her the watch instead of a photo.

Oke the bracelet is realy expensive...almost as expensive as the watch!!

I prefer buying in a store. But my father wont's to get the best price. So he doesn't mind buying online.
But we are now talking with the jeweler to buy 2 watches in once...so they must give an fantastic price.

Oh my dad is going to buy this one..but then with the leather croco strap.
