Can somebody clear something up for me please?
I'm currently very interested in the 43mm Navitimer. I've been looking at the Breitling site and various other review sites and there seems to be some confusion in where the date window should be in a watch using the B01 movement.
Some pictures show it at the 4-30 position and others show it within the 6 o'clock-positioned chronograph dial (if that's what it's called) and yet both claim to use the B01 movement.
Is it possible that the same movement can have 2 date window positions in the modern world? :D
Or is it a mistake?

One review I read said that the date window could be changed but I haven't read that anywhere else.

Many thanks if you can clear this up for me :-)

A date window can literally be cut out of the dial in any position, as long the date wheel runs underneath that position and they print the date wheel in the appropriate orientation. This picture shows what is going on under the dial.

Thank you @arcadelt for that.
I am aware that such things happen but does the B01 movement use both of these windows to your knowledge?

Yes they do, before the recent release of the new navitimer the date was always at 430, with the new release it is at six o'clock. Same movement, different locations. Like Aracdelt said, the date could be displayed at any location on the dial, all they would have to do is cut the hole where ever they want.

I purchased this Avenger Chronograph with a B01 Movement and it has the date window at the Six position.
