Nice review Ricardo.

Interesting you mention the low crown on these - the Navitimer Olympus you had (and I also owned) has the same "feature" which, as I'm sure you know, is just a product of the B19 movement being modular - i.e. it's a modified ETA 2892 with the calendar and chronograph module bolted on top. Hence the pushpieces (associated with the chrono module on top) are not aligned with the crown as that is attached to the lower 2892. Misaligned pushers with the crown are always a good indication of a modular (as opposed to an integrated) movement.

What a great review of a wonderful Breitling. I read it with fascinating curiosity about this mechanical wonder and I learned a lot. Thanks ricardo!

That's great information Mr Driver.

I was aware of it. It's amazing just how deep the calendar module makes the Olympus models. It's a shame it makes the crown dig into the top of the hand because other than that it is a very comfortable watch to wear.

:wowzers ricardo, what an interesting and detailed review this is. Not only for the Olly itself but for mechanical watches and complications as well. I really appreciate your posting and your time.

You should issue an annual "Breitling reviews", I'm sure it would be an instant hit over here.

Eloquent review for an elegant watch. I had one of these and now another member here gets to enjoy it. Too bad Breiting discontinued it a couple years ago.
