I must admit I'm a little confused. Driver, in your top ten list, didn't you long for a two-tone, blue dial standard Crosswind, and not the Crosswind Special? Ricardo, nice review. Seeing the watch on a Pilot gives me a whole new appreciation for it. Just gorgeous. Did you end up buying the watch? You thanked Andrew Michaels for lending you the watch, and I know you were considering the purchase a little while back. |

Well spotted Mr Stone. You'll have to allow me a sizeable amount of poetic license. Sam and I are trying to sell one of my collection to someone in America. If that comes to fruition the Crosswind Special may well be mine. However, he threw a curve ball yesterday (is that the expression? I don't watch Baseball) when I went to see him. He offered me one of these at such a stupidly low price I am unable to look beyond it at the minute. I will not disclose the actual figures but its really not that much more than the Crosswind Special LE!  Please look out for a review of this extraordinary timepiece soon |

Yes that's right - the TT standard Crosswind with the full gold bezel was (is?) a real grail of mine, not the Crosswind Special....... although it IS a damn fine watch. |
