Gorgeous watch, stunning photos and great review (but it's Buren not Bruen ![]() I'm very envious of you having that watch, it's a spectacular piece and I can't wait to read more of your work on the Andrew Michaels site in the weeks and months to come. Wear it in good health! |

Wear it in good health! Thanks for Your kind words Prof. And thanks for the correction. I wrote that bit from memory in my lunch break, meaning to check and correct at home. I forgot. I've now corrected it. ![]() |

Great Review of an Amazing watch. I can see why you haven't taken it off since you got it. In my very novice opinion something like this represents the highest example of this class of watch. All of the aspects of what I consider really functional and desirable (I'm not a fan of perpetual calender, or moon phase complications) are done impeccably well. Good thing this is a timeless watch, because to take a step up from here is gonna cost you some serious coin. ![]() |

Great review. While I would never wear gold for several reasons, your passion and appreciation for this piece comes through your writing in spades which in turn increases my appreciation of it though I do agree you were gushing! ![]() |

I always thought the same about gold watches. However, I believe this precious metal case adds immeasurably to this watch and I can still enjoy my love of complications as well. |

This watch has given me a new desire for gold watches, especially the warmth of rose gold. I fell in love with the IWC Portugeuse Perpetual Calendar in Rose Gold at an opening day recently. As you say, to take a step up will "take some serious coin". |

I'm just not big on the premium attached to the added utility. ricardo wrote: I fell in love with the IWC Portugeuse Perpetual Calendar in Rose Gold at an opening day recently. I saw the pic, and was dumbfounded. That thing is just sick |
