It was the postman's last day on the job after 35 years of carrying the mail through all kinds of weather to the same neighbourhood.
When he arrived a the first house on his round, he was greeted by the whole family who congratulated him and sent him on his way with a big gift envelope.
At the second house, the family presented him with a fine box of cigars.
The people in the third house handed him a case of fine wine. (quite how he was carrying all these gifts I do not know)
At the fourth house, he was met at the door by a strikingly beautiful woman in a revealing negligee. She took him by the hand, led him through the door and up the stairs to the bedroom where she blew his mind with the most wild and passionate sex he had ever experienced.
When he had had enough, they went downstairs, where she fixed him a giant breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding and toast, with freshly squeezed orange juice. When he had finished she poured him a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
As she was pouring the coffee, he noticed a five pound note sticking out from under the cup. He said to her "all this has been wonderful, but what's the fiver for?"
"Well", she said, "Last night I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special for you to thank you for all the years you have delivered our post, come rain or shine"
He said, "Screw him, give him a fiver"
The lady them smiled and said, "The breakfast was my idea"
