Wife hears her husband downstairs in the wee hours. She goes down and he’s sadly sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee. She asks what’s wrong. He says, nothing. She persists. Well he says remember our first date? She says yea. Remember what we did after our date? Yea she says with a glint in her eye. We did it in the back of your car. He says, Yea and your Dad caught us, and stuck a shotgun in my face and said either marry my daughter or spend the next 20 years in jail. Yea she says, that was pretty tense, so why are you so glum? Well I’d of got out of jail today. |
