A dog is truly man's best friend, Don't believe me?

Well lock your wife and your dog in the boot (trunk for the US of A) of your car.

2 hours later open it and see who's happy to see you.

Same with the Pub :?: The longer I stay and the more I drink the wife and dog are both waiting for me on the door step. She has a face like thunder, folded arms (one with a rolling pin in it) foot tapping. The dog sat at her side with his tail going 10 to the dozen with a longing look on his face thinking I am going to take him Walkies
