I think that bracelet looks absolutely horrible. Maybe it's the pics, it might look different in person ... but as it is ...

That bracelet is horrible. I cant even imagine it becoming better if I saw the whole thing or for real.
To me it looks like some cheap 70´s fashion watch.

Now now people, give it some time... remember what happened when people first saw pictures of the Bentley GMT? ;)

is that all Breitling will provide for the anniversary, or will there be more? (in-house movement Chronomat excluded)

No way, they will have a bunch more... this is just the only one that's been leaked out so far. :D

Any idea if they'll be releasing the stuff through the whole year or all of it at baselworld? I am willing to add one of the Bentleys to my collection, but I am hesitating to buy in case they come out with something else I could like more so I am not "pipied".

My contacts have gone very quiet since this one leaked, and they didn't tell me anything about a "bunch more". I am led to believe that there will be new models, though how many will be anniversary LEs remains to be seen. I am led to believe that:

1) Basel will see 'significant' announcements with pieces becoming available 6 - 8 weeks after Basel (late May)
2) There may be additional announcements after Basel for any 'late comers' - kind of like was the case with the SA BS last year
3) There will be market specific LEs that don't have major announcements - that usually means Japan, but 2009 is the 20th anniversary of BUSA so maybe something there too.

As I understand it the Navitimer was the only planned pre Basel announcement.

Looks like I am in the minority here, as I absolutely LOVE that watch, to me that is the nicest Navitimer yet! The dial is not overly busy but just right, the silver GMT hand, dual totalizers rather than three, the applied B, indices rather than numerals, it all just works for me :lingsrock: :lingsrock: :lingsrock: :lingsrock: :lingsrock: :lingsrock: :lingsrock:

I too wish it was a MM or two larger, but 43 is acceptable to me as I have a 7.75" wrist. Can;t remember the last time I was this excited about a Breitling since I was drooling over my first 6.75!!!

Agree about the bracelet, but it might look better in the metal.
