There was a time when a hint about a new release from Breitling would have been announced here first and then discussed ad nauseas. What has happened to this forum?

I was busy this weekend assembling IKEA furniture so had no time to react to announcement :D

Thanks for bringing it up. It seems that it will be a nice recreation of 756 AVI

I didn’t even notice this until I saw the post today. It looks amazing.

Fred - what are the dimensions of this new release?

Another absolutely beautiful reissue. I saw this on Georges FB feed yesterday, but didn't have time to post it up here.

Wonderful work again Fred as you were no doubt absolutely instrumental in getting it made and getting those details perfect. I really hope these reissues continue (and continue to be as successful as the 806) as they add a fantastic dimension to the brand.

(Still hoping that a Pupitre/Pult reissue makes it into production one day! )

It’s lovely. It seems, however, compared to the original, the pushers are a bit long...or is that just the angle of photos I have seen. Also, while I'm not the target market for it, that platinum model looks to me like it deserves white lume like the platinum 806 1959 got.

pushers are slightly longer, just as they were on the 806 Re-Edition; technical needs.

Great job Fred. A good call for a re-edition after the last icon.
Is it a numbered edition? 1953 pieces would be my guess. The post says the SS version release date is March, but any sense of timelines for ordering and actual availability in ‘stores’ in various locations USA, Canada, EU etc.

assume April for first deliveries, production claims they'll make that possible

Hey Fred,

Why was it decided to not recreate the panda version? I think it would have had wider appeal.
Unfortunately the watch looks a little too much like...
