I have just received 1 piece which has 5 diamonds worked in the rim on the back of the watch. The series is limited to 50 pcs and will only be sold in Eastern Europe.... (Listprice with black leatherstrap (black dial) is Euro 7300,- in comparison to 5700,-(inc, tax))

Sorry, no photograph, as I have no camera with me at the moment.

On the back of the watch? That's a very odd place to put diamonds!

Wouldn't mind seeing pics though when you get the chance Thomas!

Does the dial still look like an ordinary 6.75 then, Thomas?

I'm still confused about the idea behind putting diamonds on the back. :huh

I think it's in line with some of the "modest" wealth that was displayed in US/western Europe a year or two ago. In jewellery design, it was popular to put diamonds on the inside of wdiing rings and similar. Just to show your partner that you can afford him/her the best, but without screaming it out to the rest of the world.

Front looks exactly like the normal one, with black dial.

I have no idea, if this thing is really sellable, but I have to give it a try.

I like the concept behind this "modest" wealth thing, if there is such a thing?

I don't think we'd have an inferior taste here in Eastern Europe - sometimes we find strange how others think about taste in other parts of the world. It's not inferior either - it's just different. Hope you did not want to offend anyone.

Best regards: Robertus (Proud owner of a few nice watches, a. o. Breitlings - with no diamonds whatsoever...) :-)

I have absolutely no idea how that could possibly have been interpreted as trying to offend?

If it did then I'm sorry.

Your point was exactly my point - that tastes are different in different parts of the world - just like foods, sports, etc

I certainly never implied or said anything about inferior.

Then I'm happy not having misinterpreted your words. Good luck! Robertus

I think I remember seeing posts on this specidal edition 6.75 a long time ago. I like the idea I mean if you got the paper to spend on it then go ahead!! . Also There are many jewelry companies that do something like this. google Roberto Coin his signature is a ruby on every piece of jewelry he makes. Like if you buy a ring there will be a ruby on the inside of it or on the part that goes inbetween your fingers or something like that
