Howdy all,
I have an Airwolf which I love
However pretty much the only feature I want up on the displays is the day and date function.
This is what I have set but I find that if i put my hands in my pockets at all, the display function has moved on 2 or 3 modes .

This is really bugging me as I end up having to wind back or forward several times a day to get the day/date back on screen.
I dont wear long sleeved shirts to work so its not catching in the collars and I wear suit trousers so its not like my watch is getting caught on tight jeans.
Is there any way to have the watch adjusted so that its more difficult to change modes ?

Banksy, let me be the first to welcome you to the forums I saw your question treading water and wanted to respond but to be honest, I don't know. I don't have an Airwolf and I've done a search and don't see a good answer either. I just wanted to say hi, welcome aboard and put this question back out on the boards because I know there are some real genuises here who can help you out straight away!

That would make a great excuse!

I did some searching over the last couple of days and even checked out an online instruction manual for a B1. ( I couldn't find one for an Airwolf. ) Thought some of the features would be similar but there was nothing having to do with making the pushers less sensitive.

Sorry, maybe someone still knows but till then...yeah...maybe a little trip down to the local AD to check out the Blackbird.

is it like the emergency? if so i really dont think u can do anything about it. i have had no problems with the spinning.maybe go to an ad and have it checked out. sorry but no help i guess.

its not the pushers that are the problem , its the winder.
when you spin it around on the airwolf , it changes the display ,
and mine changes display ,more then I would like it to.

it should be similiar to the emergency as its a super-quartz with 2 displays .

Rechecked the B1 manual and still did not see anything in regards to adjusting the crown (winder) as far as sensitivity or locking functions. Of course the Airwolf may be different entirely but I can't seem to locate a maunal or find any info on it. I can't find an Emergency manual either.

Have an Airwolf and have had the same problem, according to Breitling It happens and you have to live with it.....not really a satisfactory solution and I only use this watch when travelling through different time zones these days. Tend to wear another watch for general use. I used to have an Aerospace which never had that problem. I think that because the Airwolf is a heavier watch, the winder tends to rub on the back of the wrist.

That "tough" attitude really isnt what I would expect from Breitling ,
As much as i like the watch , theres not much point having display functions if they dont do what you want them to.

I hope they can sort it out or I will be back here looking to sell it ,

Hope they resolve your problem Banksy, when I spoke to BUK they suggested I sent my watch to be checked but admitted that this could be a problem. I never bothered sending the watch to them as I had also discussed this with three different AD's and they agreed that the winder could rub on your wrist and change the display in certain circumstances......Please post your results as I'm sure quite a few of us will be interested.

Hmm interesting issue.....not had that problem with mine (2009 model) and it seems to stay where I leave it. Cant say I have ever noticed the crown rubbing on my wrist either. It would need to take several rotations of the crown to change mode, but I can see how this can happen if the crown keeps getting rolled.

Actually I have just tried mine while wrtiting this and the crown rotation must be speed sensitive - if you spin or flick the crown it changes modes easily and quickly, but if you slowly turn the crown it wont change (or only changes after 20 or so rotations, I have not managed to work that bit out yet!). That must indicate its an interia dependant set up, presuambly adjustable in the electronics?

Not a lot of help for you sorry, but I do hope breitling have done something with it for you.
