Hi,

I purchased a brand new Colt Quartz 2 the other day with the Pro Divers strap and I also enquired on replacing the rubber strap with the Pro 2 bracelet at a later date and my local Breitling dealer has told me that it would cost me £330 Would you say its a bit pricey for a steel bracelet or are there cheaper places to purchase one from.

PS I purchased my watch from Delicious Watches UK. Web price £1,080.00(RRP:£1,370.00) with the Pro Divers Strap or £1,295(rrp:£1,630.00) with the Pro 2 bracelet.

That sounds about right for the list price. Historically there hasn't been the ability to get much discount on bracelets / straps, but in this economy it's worth checking with an AD what kind of deal you can get.

As a general rule however the best way to get a good discount is to buy the bracelet with the watch because that's where the biggest discount comes in.

Hi and thanks Roffensian. I was going for the bracelet version but decided for the Pro Diver as it was cheaper and without realising how much extra I'd have to pay for the bracelet seperate.
