Hi All

I have just been given a Breitling stopwatch. The model number is 4408 (from the Breitling sticker on the back) but on the front in just says 'Sprintimer'. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Not sure exactly what the question is - I'm not familiar with the 4408 but generally the Sprint stopwatches are from the early 70s with either round metal cases or black slowly ovoid cases. They aren't worth much - Old World is selling them NOS for $140.

As Driver8 says, photos will help.

Looks NOS - do you know if it's one of Old World's?

Clearly just a dial variation on the ovoid cased ones, slightly unusual to see it branded as a Sprintimer rather than just Sprint, but there just isn't much market for these.

Personally, I like them as a piece of 70s Breitling history.

No, I don't think its NOS because it has some slight wear. I do like the colour & shape of the watch though!

Thanks for your reply!

Mike
