I just bought my first Breitling, a 2003 B-2 with Fighter bracelet. :D Anyways, the previous owner never rotated the bezel much, if at all. After I screwed around with it a bunch, I noticed that the internal slide-rule and the external bezel don't line up. They appear to be about 5 minutes out of time, but it varies with the rotation of the bezel.

Is this normal? Is there any way to get them back in time?

Thanks!

The bezel and the internal slide rule are geared but not at a 1:1 ratio. Very rarely will they line up. It is a great time waster when you are bored to rotate them enough to get them to line up. Have fun and enjoy the watch. I really like mine.

:yeahthat Perfectly normal.

I read somewhere that you can apparently get them to line up eventually, but it's a ridiculous number of turns that's required! One for a wet Sunday afternoon I think!

Thanks for the info! Too bad someone at Breitling didn't have OCD when they designed the bezel. I'll keep playing with it...

Thanks!
