I Have just purchased my first swiss automatic, Solid black face SA with index markers. I don't want make any mistakes with care and maintence. Any tips on operation, and what to do and what not to do. Should I invest in a winder? I feel like a little kid in a toy store. Thanks in advance for any helpful tips on do's and don'ts Cory |

Take particular heed about not using the quick set date or winding time back between 8pm and 3am. Don't use the chrono pushers underwater, use a soft toothbrush with some soap and water to clean it and some cape cods or sunshine cloths for an occasional polish (staying clear of brushed and sapphire surfaces). If you are going to wear the watch every day you won't need a winder, the wear will be enough. |
