I bought a new Navitimer Chronometre from Bailey Banks & Biddle about 6 months ago... It's pretty much the same model as the one on the link below, but with the silver face.
http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_details/Navitimer_53.htmlOn the day of purchase, the saleperson took the watch out of the brand new box, adjusted the metal band and set the correct time before he handed it me....and I have been wearing the watch everyday ever since. I love everything about the watch and have been getting a lot of compliments......except from time to time, I noticed the minute hand showing 4-5 minutes faster than it should be. I then would have to manually change the minute hand back to where it's supposed to be. So far, it has happened 3 times already.
Now, I'm farily new to owning a self-winding watch....and I was wondering if this is just a part of having a self-winding watch or if there's anything that I need to be aware of. I love this watch and I plan to wear it for a long long time.....and I just wanted to make sure it lasts as long.
Just so you know, BBB is an authorized Breitling retailer here in Schaumburg, IL and the watch itself is genuine and brand new.
Thanks.
