I have had my Seawolf for over two years and love it. The flat finish titanium is really nice looking and I try to keep up with the occasional scrapes and scratches with a fiberglass brush. In the long run I think the brush polishes out the original matt finish. I would appreciate any suggestions on what I can use to bring back more of that original dull mat finish.

Thanks…. cj

Welcome!

I know a lot of people uses Scotch Brite in combination with a fiber glass pen, and that they're happy with that combo.

:yeahthat Just go in the direction of "the grain" on the brushing with the Scotchbrite, and also go slowly and carefully and it should come up a treat. I've not used it on ti, but I have used it on SS on my old Seamasters and they came up like new. So much so in fact that when I traded one at a jewellers they asked me if I'd ever worn it! I'd only worn it practically everyday for the past 2 years! So yes, it does work!

Good morning all,
If you find that the fibre glass insert is not harsh enough, try the steal insert for the pen, it will not polish the titanium,
it will 'brush it'. I use them for heavy duty electrical contacts when the fibre glass is too soft.
