Hi Guys,

As I have mentioned in a few posts, I recently picked up a new Chrono-Cockpit. I am not sure, but I think it may be running a bit fast and am wondering if anyone has any easy ways to tell whether this is the case. I recently set the time to be exactly the same as the clock on my digital cable box (within 1/4 second or so), and when I went to check on the times approximately 24 hours later, my watch appeared to be about 22 seconds ahead of the time on the cable box. I am not sure whether the watch or the cable box is keeping incorrect time!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

www.time.gov is a good website for accurate time.
Also, the breitling.com website has time.

I find my cable box extremely accurate.
However, http://www.timeticker.com" target="_blank seems to have little to lag either...

Don't use Breitling.com - it just has an app that displays the time from your PC.

If you are near an AD they should be able to tell you in just a couple of minutes exactly how fast it is, and regulate it for you.

You're right, Breitling.com does just display the pc time. Thanks! That's pretty cheezy.

Time.gov seems to display the correct time, though, even if you change your pc time. I just need to hit "disable java animation" since the Java gets screwed-up on my work pc.

Thanks everyone for all of your help. I took a quick trip to my AD over the weekend and they were able to confirm within seconds that it was running fast and regulated it on the spot. Now it looks like it is running in the -1/+1s per day range instead of +12s!
