New to this site and think it is great. Purchased my super ocean in Sept 07. Dealer reccomended that since I bought it in St. Johns and have a 2 year int. warranty, I should send it to them within that period for a check up. Nothing is wrong and works great. Do you suggest I do this. Thanks much Drew |

Unless you are diving regularly then there is no problem waiting until the watch can't stay within COSC specs before getting it serviced - and that's going to be 5 years or so from new. If you do dive, especially around St. Johns where I assume there is salt water exposure, it's worth getting the gaskets replaced. |
