Hi all !

Just wanted to show my 80520-1 and ask if you are familiar with this kind of dial. Is it redone, is it an error of the printing machine ? What do you think ? (please note the hour markers)

Kind regards,
Eddie

I'm going to move this into the Breitling Help Forum - you'll get more eyes on it there, and late 80s isn't really Vintage.

I have not seen anything like that, and I really don't know what might have caused it - sorry.

To me it looks like QC issue.

The sub-dials don't appear to have a guilloché finish. I may well be wrong but I thought most Breitlings feature this as a mark of their quality. The general appearance of the dial appears rather 'flat'. Could the dial be a non-genuine replacement?

It's an older watch.
I don't think it's a replacement dial.

Correct - dial is correct for a chrono callisto.

Thanks a lot everyone for help !

So as I can see, the dial is original, but with a printing error that somehow passed the QC ... Is this rare ? Can this increase the value of my watch ?

Again any input will be of great help. Thanks a lot !

Best,
Eddie

Certainly rare - I've never seen anything like it.

Will it add value, I very much doubt it. In practice potential buyers would notice the problems and pass on it or look to pay less - sorry.

BEZELS MUST BE ALIGNED!

Nice watch otherwise.

If you mean that the bezel should stay in "zero" position you are right. Just turned it counterclockwise to wind up the piece and left it like that for the photo session :)
