| Post subject: | Where to have my watch regulated? |
I've got a SOC that is running 8-10 seconds fast per 24 hours. I've had the watch a couple of months and tried to give it some time to break in. Last week, I let the watch sit, the power reserve die and then wound it like a new watch; 40 times. It ran about 2 sec fast for a couple days but is back to it's old routine. I've tried adjusting the way I let it sit at night when I'm not wearing it, but I'm not getting any closer to COSC specs. My question is can I take it to an authorized repair center or do I have to send it to BUSA? If the former, how can I find an authorized repair center? (I bought it through the Group Buy, so I didn't really want to send it all the way there.) The closest AD is 2 hrs so I can't just run by my local AD. Also, if a repair center can do it, is that something I can wait with the watch for or would I have to leave it? For the record, I am 2 hours south of Atlanta, GA. Thanks for the help! |

A repair centre should certainly be able to do it - I've not heard of anyone in North America having problems with it being done. It only takes a few minutes and can certainly be done while you wait. All they do is test it to see exactly how fast it is, adjust it, test it again and then pressure test it to ensure the water resistance hasn't been compromised - 10 minutes or so. |

Try to leave it crown up over the night. It should slow down a bit. |

if the watch is under warranty take it to an AD. |
