| Post subject: | Navitimer dial "BASE" meaning? |
Hello, I was wondering if someone will be able to answer a question about the Navitimer dial. Between 11 and 12 o'clock and just below the 55 marking on the slide rule, it says BASE. I have been trying to find out what it means or what the function of this is, but I was not able to find any explanation so far. Wondering if anyone can enlighten me?
