Post subject:  Breitling Problems

I have several Breitlings, and I would be wrong to not point out the lack of support and issues I have had with them. I've had the B55 since it came out. It worked for a bit, then locked up during a software update. Bunch of weird characters on the screen. Didn't tell time. I sent it back under warranty, and it came back working OK for about a month, now it does not connect to any phone, Iphone, or android. I've called Breitling 3 times, even went to their North American Shop with the watch near Danbury, CT (I grew up there) and they said they couldn't help me due to Covid. I was literally outside their door on route 7, 10 miles from my Mother's home, and they refused to help me. They said I could mail it to them, and I said, "OK, ill go down the street to my sister's house in Norwalk and mail it". I got the, "we are not taking any watches right now due to covid".

OK, covid, the excuse for everything. I guess that is why the watch doesn't work? I am an airline pilot, have been a pilot since the 1980s, don't you think that you should treat your target market a little bit better? I'm going to leave an email below, and Breitling in Switzerland or Federal Road, or wherever better get in contact with me, or I will make it a mission to spread the word of your failings amongst every person I get in contact with, social media, reviews, etc.

You are highly unlikely to get a response from Breitling posting here, and all you are doing by putting an e-Mail address in your post is inviting spam. You need to write to Breitling directly, maturely outline your concerns, and work with them and within current limitations to have your watch properly fixed.

let me chime in here.
did you send an email to customer.service.us@breitling.com ?
they would give you precise feedback & information where and how to get your watch checked.
let me know if you don't receive a prompt reply, but I'd be surprised.

You could also drop off the watch at any authorized AD listed here:

We're not clearly not the target market anymore.

I will say that I had the exact opposite experience recently with Breitling service. I had an issue with my Chronomat with one week left in the warranty, it was sent in and I had an estimate about 2 weeks later. The watch was returned in about 7 weeks. If there were any questions, I called and got an answer right away.

Many people these days are having to post their watch to a service centre. Here in the U.K. all shops are closed so I'd have to post my Breitling for service/attention at this moment in time, frustrating, but it is what it is at the moment I'm afraid.
Do you have another watch you can wear for flying duties?
