Post subject:  Chronospace Automatic A233635 help

I am hoping to get some information about the Chronospace Automatic A2336035.
I am researching online sources for "pre-owned" models and welcome any and all comments on what issues these models may have been having.
In addition, I would like info from current or past owners, on the comparable "readability" of the slide rule scale on different dial colors.
Yes, I'm an "old school" Physics guy from the 70's and would actually like to be able to use the slide rule!
I expect the black dial would offer the best contrast but how might the grey or blue dials compare?

I've never owned one myself, but they aren't renowned for having any particular issues or problems. They didn't have a particularly long run - 2011 to 2014 - so there aren't absolutely loads of them around. It's powered by the B23 movement that is basically an ETA 7753, so you've got no worries there ; all very reliable and tried-and-tested. 200m water resistant too, which is pretty good for slide-rule equipped piece. It's quite a big unit though - 46mm across and 16mm thick - so if you haven't tried one on in person, then I thoroughly suggest you do.

Black will be the most legible, but all the blue and grey are pretty good too. The white/silver has the least contrast so that's the one to avoid if legibility is of paramount importance.

(And BTW, you'll be one of the first people I've come across who actually wants to use the slide rule in anger!  )

Here's mine, one of my favourite chronographs, WR 200mts slide rule as Navitimer. Very subtle sunray black face with concentric rings on subdials. Here's mine on the Ocean mesh, but I also have a 2 piece cordura, camel croc' on deployant, and Aviator classic, it really is a 'strap monster'.

Priced very competitively against the Navitimer line, so worth a look around.

and at last 2 piece NATO

BTW, IMHO, the ProII bracelet was a no-no for me, & I love bracelets primarily, but sold soon after I bought the watch, it was just too much steel for the watch head.

Very nice! I agree that I don't want the ProII bracelet and look forward to one with the mesh.
I've been reading about Breitling's push button clasp with micro-adjust. Sounds great.
Beautiful pictures. I have some work to do to get some decent pics of my watches and then learn how to post them. I've read the posts on how to add pictures but it just told me I still have much to learn about this computer and internet thing.
Thanks for the reply and I look forward to having something to post before too long.

Push button clasp is only avilable for rubber I'm afraid. The Ocean mesh comes with traditional style deployant. It does have 4 hole springbar adjustment though, so you would get a nice fit I'm sure.
Have a look at the thread about how to upload pictures on here, quite simple in the end, even I, a non-techy managed to do it.
Good luck with your search.

That's nice Rodeor, love the compass bezel, & the mesh is nice too, who's the maker if I may ask?
Glad your getting the hang of posting pictures.

The mesh bracelet is from Luxury Watch Straps UK. I especially like the small push button clasp. I believe Gekota has a similar one. I may try their's in 18mm for my Chronostop.

Yes, I like the compass bezel even if not as "functional as a diver's or slide rule. It fits the watch now that I've learned about the unusual numbering on the chapter ring.

A compass bezel is as functional for it's intended purpose as a slide-rule, or diver bezel.

Point well made. Thank you. I have just not found as much need for it yet! I am still glad to have it on at least one of my watches.
