Post subject:  breitling blackbird se aa44359 help

Hi,

I have a Breitling blackbird SE aa44359 that have been sent to service a few times. They don't find anything wrong with the watch.

The problem is this. Even though I'm rewinding it 40-100 times, it doesn't seem to last any longer than 1-4 days. I use it all day except when I'm sleeping.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? It has been like this for a few years, so It doesn't make sense that I'm doing anything wrong (rewinding is easy).

Thanks in advance

Assuming you're "normally active" - i.e. not confined to bed, or with any movement impairment - then wearing your watch 7 days a week during your waking hours after a decent initial wind of a full 60 or so full turns of the crown (which you seem to've given it), then it should keep running pretty much indefinitely.

I'd say there is clearly an issue with the self-winding mechanism (or potentially the mainspring), so I can't believe Breitling found nothing wrong with it. :huh Very strange.

Are you still re it is going back to Breitling as part of the testing is t make sure it auto winds. Th e test is set to time with some power on then auto wind over night two days of time keeping test and check power reserve. After this with no power on it is auto tested. This test has must come out basically the same amps as if you hand wind it
