Hi, For the past 18 months, my Wolf winder (Cub Single) has been doing a great job winding my Breitling while not on my wrist. Lately, the breitling runs out of power while in the winder. My other automatics (omega, panerai) all maintain power when in the winder. The Breitling seems okay, as it keep perfect time while on my wrist, and when fully wound it will hold power for at least 24 hours while sitting on my desk.

Do you try to change the direction of your winder ?

Well first off, the power reserve should be holding for more than 24 hours if it's fully wound and then left to run down. The B45 movement in there is essentially an ETA 2834 which has a PR of circa 38-42 hours. If it was holding power before, but now it's not, then it may have an issue that Breitling would need to look into.

The ETA 2834 winds in both directions so the direction of your winder setting won't matter, but it needs at least 650tpd to retain it's charge. If you're giving it at least that amount and it's still not holding power, then it's definitely an issue that needs looking at.
