Hi Everyone
Should I re-gilt this watch? I inherited it from my Father. The gold plate has worn badly in parts but the face and dial are in perfect condition. Any idea of cost? Any idea of value?

I wouldn’t. It doesn’t look that bad to me, and furthermore you will be wiping away its history and probably reducing the value in the process. If you want something new, fit a nice new leather strap.
