Good afternoon everyone, First, apologies if this topic is created in the wrong section. I was wondering if i can get any opinions on buying a Bretiling Automatic Colt A17350. First, the price is set at 1250€, the watch was purchased in 2004 and barely worn as there are only slight signs of wear which makes it look in a very good condition. Will the price be right for it considering that comes with papers,box, proof of purchase. What are they value at? My concern is the following: the person that owns it says that the watch has never been serviced as it wasn’t used on a daily basis. Will this be a very important thing? Of course i’m planning to have it serviced once i bought it but just asking for opinions regarding this from people that knows as this will be my first ever Breitling. I really like the look of it but if not being serviced matters a lot i will pass the deal. Many thanks for answers and help. Regards, Danny |

I personally can not speak to the price of that specific watch but I can say any watch you buy you should buy assuming you will need to send it in for a full service. Whether or not it is immediately or after a year or two of enjoyment...always buy with that assumption and pay accordingly. Just one man's opinion... |

I’m really aware of that but my concern is the fact that the watch was never serviced in 16yrs. How bad is this thing, how is affecting the watch? Thanks |

The only way to know the impact of not having any service, is to send it in for service. Everything else is a guess. |

FWIW it seems a fair price to me. I can't see condition from the pics but it's a lovely looking watch, and I'd be wanting to send it off for a service anyway - the (lack of) use wouldn't bother me. |
