Hi all,

I'm new to the world of Breitling, but have collected watches for a few years now!

I really wanted to purchase a Navitimer as it is the watch that got me into watches! So I've found a Navitimer for sale that was a Japanese Limited Edition of 100 pieces - but I cannot find any information about it online at all - other than an old sales listing on Yahoo Japan.

Is there any way for me to get more information on the watch? I really just want confirmation that it indeed is an authentic model. Would appreciate any help from those who are more knowledgeable on the brand. I did try calling a few boutiques in Japan but unfortunately they didn't speak English.

Not sure about this Limited Edition but if it's real I'll be putting on my list to "hunt for" :lingsrock:

What makes it "limited" — gray dial?

LOL!!! Good point!!! I guess that they made 100 of them and then engraved the number on the case back… LOL

Haha, I know Breitling have a bit of a reputation about making limited editions, but I did find the dial stunning!

Also from my research, I noticed Limited Edition models run from a few hundred to 2000 ish pieces, so being only 100 made it seem a bit more exclusive.

Japan as a country has had numerous special and limited editions created just for their market. As someone who lives in the states it is a little depressing to see them get so many! They are particularly fond of mother of pearl dials!!

Looks very similar to the original Navitimer B01 Limited Edition from 2010, but without the red text on the date wheel and the red main chronograph hand. Not sure there is enough of a difference there that I would pay a premium for the Japan Edition.

Thanks for that, Arcadelt. Honestly, when I saw the photo, it wasn’t at all clear to me what made this LE different from the regular production reverse panda Navi. Thought it might have a gray dial, based on the photo. If not, then the only thing different would seem be the lack of a red chrono seconds hand. Odd.
