erience it's better to deal with Breitling direct instead of going via an AD. For example I send all my watches in to Breitling myself and cut the AD out of the loop completely.

I'll keep that in mind once I need a service. Was it every two years minor maintenace and every 5 years a ful service?

Both times I've sent watches in it's been for full services.

If you go the direct route, just give Breitling USA or UK (or where-ever you are) a call and they'll give you all the information about how to send it in safely.

Well, it'll be Breitling NL for me as well since I am in the same position as Yzord. But I guess it should be 5 years before a full service is due and I hope they change their attitude until then.

As suggested in another topic, the way I do (and I know a lot more) is to send in the watch for a service when you notice there's something strange with the timekeeping - approximately around 5 years.
