Hello everyone,, New to the forum: a week ago, I took delivery from an AD of a new Chronomat GMT, all steel, AB041012/g719ss. Now twice, after a full wind (40 turns) and wearing the watch 24/7, it stops after about 2 and 1/2 days of wearing. I was under the impression that the self-winding feature would sustain operation; otherwise, the watch keeps perfect time - I have not operated the chonograph feature while wearing. Any suggestions? |

Assuming you're active and your movement isn't impaired in some way, then your watch should keep running if you're wearing it 24/7. The 2.5 days it runs for is close-ish to the 70 hour power reserve of the B04 movement (which it would've got when you manually wound it), so it looks like the self-winding mechanism isn't working. Probably a trip back to Breitling I'm afraid. |
