Post subject:  Battery life after it begins flashing

Hi all-

I have a Breitling Aerospace that was purchased in 2002. I have replaced the battery many times, but my question is:

How long will the watch continue to function once the display begins flashing? I have all LED displays/sounds off to try and preserve as much battery as possible. The reason I ask is I am currently deployed and am not scheduled to rotate home until mid-July. Any chance my watch will last until then?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Greg

You’ve done all you can to extend its life. It may keep going but factors such as ambient temperature can play a part. If it dies and it’s your only watch then it will be inconvenient but shouldn’t cause damage through leakage in that time frame. I’ve known folks leave them flat in a drawer for months with no problem, not recommended but may be reassuring in your situation.

Welcome to the forum by the way!
