I just recently got my watch(Avenger Seawolf) back from service and I have noticed that the bezel will move clockwise with just a little more effort than counterclockwise. I don't remember it being so easy to move it clockwise, in fact I thought before it would not move in that direction. Watch was serviced at BUSA in Sept. It still ratchets when moving and aligns properly. Is this normal? Should it be "tightened" or is the click-spring non-serviceable since it is replaced each service. Merry X-Mas! David |

I realize that but could you elaborate as to what might be going on? It will not do it without pressure even though not much is required. I wonder if it has always been this way, or if not what is happening mechanically to cause this. maybe someone with the same type mechanisim could try and see if it moves. Also, any insight into why? -David |

Underneath the bezel is a very thin ring of springy metal with a couple of pieces bent up slightly to catch in the grooves on the underside of the bezel. It is those pieces of metal that prevent the bezel from moving clockwise. It sounds to me that this piece of metal either wasn't put back properly or possibly not put back at all. I'd be taking that straight back to an AD. Fortunately it doesn't compromise the water resistancy of the watch at all, so it's more anoying rather than anything. (Obviously if you dive with it before you get it fixed you need to be aware that if the bezel moved clockwise while you're using it to measure the amount of air you have left, you might run out before you expect to!  )
