Hoping someone can help and give me a wise advise here...
One week old Breitling Galactic Unitime and losing about 10 to 14 seconds every 24 hours. I know it takes a week or so to settle but the trend seems to continue each day. Is it possible that it could take more than a week for the watch to settle? Purchased at TJ Maxx and I guess warranty is void, so I hope it’s nothing serious...

I don't think that is going to settle to within the normal cosc tolerances. Hopefully you saved a ton of money over retail and are willing to either live with knowing there is something potentially wrong, even something as simple as a regulation, or be willing to suck it up and pay out-of-pocket to correct whatever the issue is.

I paid $2,000+tax so I couldn't pass on it given the fact it was brand new. I don't know why a new watch would have such time keeping discrepancy...
I hope looking at the issue doesn't cost the $2,000 I saved.

Is a refund out of the question from the retailer?

I can get a full refund by the end of the year but I really like the watch. I will have it checked by a Breitling AD and if it is way out of line to fix, then I will return it. I hope I don't have to...
