Post subject:  Chrono Avenger 69 USA???

I have this watch, it is basically a Chrono Avenger 69 with a small american flag on the bottom left of the dial between the 7 and 8. I have not seen this watch anywhere on the net in a picture and no mention of it anywhere? It says limited edition 007/100 on the back. and it has a clear back. I have all the information that came with the watch (I believe I got it in 2003). There is no mention of what movement is in the watch. It is not automatic, (it might be superquartz) and in the 15 years I have had it, it has kept perfect time and I have never changed a battery. I have gone many months maybe even over a year without wearing it and it still keeps perfect time? Does anyone know anything about this watch, the movement, and what it might be worth????
Thanks

I've not seen the particular variant you mention, however Breitling have made many many different dial-logo-based LE's over the years, so in most cases they don't actually command a premium over a standard model, despite being an LE.

Assuming it's basically a Chrono Avenger 69, just with a dial logo, the movement will be the B69 which is essentially a Piguet MecaQuartz 1271. The 1271 is a hybrid of a quartz base movement with a mechanical rattrapante complication. Quite an interesting movement for what it is, although it's not thermo-compensated, so it's not SuperQuartz. I'm amazed it's still running after 15 years with no battery change however, as the lifespan is usually around 4-5 years! :huh

Have had two CA 69's in the past, one with the flag and one without. Both ran great and oddly enough, I never had to do a battery service on either one. Wish that I could get that F. Piguet movement in a titanium case CA...
