I just picked up a chrono avenger M1 and am trying to figure out how to set the date. It's a quartz, so I assumed it would have a quick set date feature. The manual just says to advance the hour hands until the date changes. Is this the only way to do it? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the reply. When I unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first click; when I turn the crown, it advances the hour hand by one hour (time zone change). When I pull the crown to the second click and turn the crown, it moves the minutes hand to set the time. Am I doing something wrong?

Yep - this is the correct way of operating the M1. It doesn't have a separate, date only quick set. You just rotate the hour hand through until you're on the right date, set the right hour and away you go!
