Be sure to check serial numbers, make sure they match etc... The usual fake check stuff. Then inquire about a service record. If it has not been serviced in the last 5 years it will need a full one. That's $500. Better pics will give you a better idea of the kind of shape it is in. Do not trust them that it is near perfect (or whatever he said). In good shape, assume no recent service, proper documentation that it is genuine (including good pics of the dial for bnewbie and sharkmouth to check on the replica ID forum here). Then $1000-1200 is fair, not great, but fair. I would offer $1k if I had to service it. Says something about the condition it was kept in. IMHO.
