Hi all,

Just got my hands on my first 'new to me' breitling and I'm trying to find out how old it is, I read somewhere that there should be a serial number on the case where the strap joins the lower part of the case?? I've had a look and there is nothing there. It's a s/s & 18k gold bezel and pilots strap Chronomat with mop dial and blue mop sub dials. On the back of the case is "D13050.1" and "10599".

Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Your watch predates the case dating code and was produced, with the .1 suffix it would be a 1998 / 99 model, no way to be more precise than that.
