Post subject:  What to expect with a new Breitling

Hello all, my first post here. :)

I collect my new Breitling Navitimer World (blue dial, steel strap) next Tuesday (5th Nov). I'm buying it from a very reputable local jeweller who is a Breitling dealer (confirmed via the Breitling website) so I'm not expecyting any problems. To be sure I get all the relevant bits can someone tell me what stuff normally comes with a new Breitling?

I've had a Rolex before so I know what goodies come with them, but what comes with a new Breitling (box, certificates etc.)? I understand that Breitling submit all their movements to COSC for certification, so should I expect to receive the COSC certificate as well?

I'm sure my jewellers will have it all in hand but it's a busy place and I want to be sure nothing gets accidentally mislaid or left in the stock cupboard!

I'm happy to write a review of my Navitimer World here when I've had it for a while if that would be useful?

Thanks all, glad to be here. :)

Welcome to BreitlingSource. Assuming new you'll get the electronic warranty, Breitling's version of the COSC certificate, the practice circular sliderule and maybe the hang tag if the dealer received it from Breitling. You'll also get the instruction manual of course.
