I was at my local ad today , ordering a new navi b01 ss bracelet . Whilst I was talking to the sales man I asked about the 2 year air test to cover the 5 year garantee . He took advice from the store manager who told me that when it was time just bring it back and we will send it back to switzerland for the free test . I asked if he was joking but no he was adamant it had to be returned to the factory for the test . I think he is wrong whats your opinion before I try to find another ad.

Sorry forgot to say this is in the U.K.

It is water resistance test , to be done every 2 yeas during the inhouse manufacture 5 year warranty period. Any Breitling Authorised service Center can do it.
How else could they provide full service with warranty if they could not finish it off with a water resistance test?
Your AD is full of it and they should not be an AD with this level of knowledge.

Thanks for reasuring my thoughts . I will have to go back when I pick up my new bracelet and will see if they actually have a trained tech on there payroll . I told the sales man , more than once , that it had to be the 447a bracelet but he still didnt write it on the order . We will see if they get that bit right .
