First time here

I have a breitling Super avenger chrono watch purchased 2008 and last month the strap broke near teh clasp, I was surpised to see a steel component break ... Please see photo atatched it looks like a weilding or something.
Can anybody suggest if i can buy the lug separately as I saw aon ebay only the full strap is available and its aboput $550 +

any advices on how to get this fixed or where i could get a alternative would be appreciative.

hi and welcome to BS!

not an expert, but i would first call / pay a visit to an AD and ask what the options are... and then decide for clasp or full bracelet replacement.
